What is this religious system made up of and where did some of its practices come from? Is the pope the Vicar of Christ on earth? Is Mary a co-redemptor? Good morning Russ. This is Will in North Central TX. I haven't emailed in a while, but I have still been listening. I love your radio shows/sermons, and usually listen to them the evening/day after due to work constraints. I am listening to your Wednesday evening (2/02/2011) broadcast and you are speaking of the Logos and about not falling into the trap of "traditions of man", which I whole-heartedly agree with. However - yes, here comes the big BUT - I would like you to respond to the traditons that are ingrained in "Christianity" such as Sunday worship, Christmas, Easter, and Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure knowing your background with satanic ritual abuse and crime that you don't celebrate Halloween, but what about the others that I listed? Are they not all traditions of man, not given by God or the Lord Jesus Christ. I am asking your considered opinion in a spirit of brotherhood, not to be confrontational. My church background was the Worldwide Church of God, so that may give you some background about where I'm coming from. I just have this feeling that is inside me - and I'd like to believe that it is from the Holy Spirit - that these terrible pagan/satanic traditions have permeated into every part of society and that I cannot get away from them. I see the masonic/occult symbolism everywhere in corporate logos, at sporting events, on TV (which I hardly ever watch), on people's cars EVERY DAY driving around (e.g., stickers with the skull and bones symbol or the double-eagle crest). I get dirty looks or told that I'm crazy by friends and family and co-workers if the topic comes up and I speak the truth about it (as I know it).
Well, thanks for taking the time to read this and if you could respond sometime when you have a few minutes I'd appreciate it. Just want you to know that even though you are in Ohio and I'm in Texas, I consider you my minister. Thanks again Russ and you are in my prayers.
